Welcome! I’m glad you’re joining me on this new venture. In 2012, I began a blog entitled Children's Legacy Library, which is the name of a private homeschool lending library of over 18,000 books that I have operated out of my home since 2008. This space was designed to keep in touch with my patrons and others who love books as much as I do. I still run this blog and love everything I do in my library.
So why another blog? Well in addition to the library, I homeschool my children, live on a farm where we milk cows, raise chickens, sheep, garden, as well as cook using traditional methods with real food, much of it produced by the work of our hands. I found there were things I wanted to talk about that wouldn’t fit over at the other space. Thus Real Books, Real Food…Real Life was born!
